adige 3D tube laser cutter

For some time now aalbers|wico has been working with a special 3D tube laser cutter. The Adige LT8 allows finished or semi-finished products to be manufactured in a single combined process. We use the tube laser cutter to produce prototypes and individual items, as well as large series.

The machine is extremely versatile. Besides cutting round, oval, square and rectangular tube material, it also cuts strips and L, C and U profiles, not to mention customer-specific profiles that differ from these variants.  

any conceivable shape

Welding edges? Countersunk holes? Using the 3D laser we can cut material into virtually any conceivable shape. As parts can be given mitred edges, we are also able to create optimal joins.  

new possibilities for construction

The LT8 offers surprising new possibilities for construction too. Parts can be made to fit perfectly using mortise and tenon joints, for example. Constructions can then simply be slotted into place and subsequently welded, if necessary. This saves a great deal of measuring and also rules out any need for welding fixtures.

The Adige LT8 allows us to manufacture a finished or semi-finished product from a tube or profile in a single combined process. As these products require less subsequent processing, or none at all, this is not only a more efficient way of working, but also delivers a more attractive result.
